NanoWriter is a text editor with a single purpose: to write.

The thing that makes NanoWriter different is not what features it has, rather it's what it doesn't have. Namely the ability to edit the text anywhere. While you can view the whole document, you can only edit at the end.

What is the point of this restriction? Well, it is simply to force you to write without editing. It is all about the first draft and getting the words down. At the beginning, you want to pump out your ideas as quickly as possible. Editing comes later.

How often do we find ourselves with a few spare moments, such as waiting in line at the post office, sitting on the toilet, or commuting on a bus or train. With NanoWriter, there is no excuse not to fill those moments with a sentence or two. No distractions. No fluff. No wading through menus. No waiting for a bulky app to load. No being restricted to sitting at your desk to write. Just load it up and continue from where you left off within seconds.

I am a writer myself. I made this app for me. It allows me to focus on my love of writing, not the chore of it. It was borne from my frustration with bulky, restrictive, hassle-filled editors. "All I want to do is write!"
