The war of 1812 was the second war the United States fought against Great Britain. In this application you will learn about all the major events and battles of this important war. Each battle includes a description, illustrations, and (in most cases), a 2-4 minute video on the battle. The 1812 program also contains primary source documents from these battles. Follow American forces on land and on sea, as they fight to maintain America's independence. Users can print and/or e-mail all of the photos and documents included in this app. A great way to study about a war that took place 200 years ago.
