Triple Town is an original puzzle game in which you try to grow the greatest possible city. The larger the city you build, the more points you score. You build your city by matching three or more game-pieces: combine three grasses to make a bush, three bushes to make a tree... until you've filled the board with houses, cathedrals and castles. Along the way, you'll have to outwit giant bears who will try to block your progress.

How large can you grow your dream city before the board fills and the game ends?

Triple Town is free to play forever. Eventually, you will run out of moves, but they replenish for free if you wait a while, and you can also buy more moves with free coins that you earn in-game. If you want to eliminate the move counter altogether, there is a one-time fee for *lifetime* unlimited moves. It works on any compatible iOS device you own -- just load the game's option menu on your other devices and select "restore unlimited turns" to activate your purchase on additional devices. (Update: we've added a 2-minute mode that you can play free, forever, as much as you want, by watching advertisements in between play sessions. Or you can pay for unlimited turns, which disables the ads in this mode!)

It’s been 11 years…

I am currently 25 years old. I first downloaded Triple Town when I was 14. I often found myself getting bored with a lot of mobile games and shortly deleting it but not Triple Town though. My high school friends have seen me play this game so frequently over the years. They would make jokes about how I will never let go of this game. However, seeing how I still play Triple Town after 11 years later, it is no longer a joke but an acceptance.

Triple Town was more than a game to me. It was one of the first mobile games that I downloaded. I got in trouble in high school for playing it during class so much that the vice principal got involved. I would play Triple Town during terrible Tinder dates when the guy would not shut up. I played it while my ex was yelling at me over the phone accusing me of cheating. I even played it during my CalFresh interview over the phone when I was trying to apply for food stamps. When I got diagnosed with depression and PTSD, Triple Town was the comfort game that I always turned to when I had my episodes. It’s probably not that deep but since I just have so much nostalgia and memories that’s connected to it that might be why I’m so attached to this game. Recently, I just got my heart severely broken over a situationship so after I’m done typing this review I’ll most likely hop onto Triple Town.

Thank you for creating Triple Town. It has been an honor to have it be part of my life.

accidentally got addicted

I used to play this game when I was younger but I ended up stopping for a couple years. I was going through my past purchases and saw that this game was still available so i thought, “why not?”. I downloaded it, remembered why I loved this game, but played for a moderate amount of time.

then, i accidentally purchased unlimited turns and now...there’s no turning back.

i’ve started playing this game whenever i’m not busy/ on social media, and despite having 20 other games on my phone (i get bored easily), i find that i play this game the most. it’s addicting, and while ninja bears will always be my worst enemy, it is so satisfying to make bushes and mansions. it’s truly addicting and reminds me of my childhood. thanks to the creators for continuing to improve it as this is now one of my favorite apps to kill time on 😌❣️

Over a decade of playing on and off

I’ve been playing Triple Town for 12ish years now.
I don’t always have it on my phone, but from time to time I’ll redownload it and play it again.
I have some feedback though, and I wish Spry Fox would address it.
First is that I wish you received more gold from the games. You might spend 2k coins buying a tree here, a bush there, all in a single game. But the return on investment for that, is too low. If I could get a crystal here, I’d have these 3 castles complete- but for that floating island, I’m not going to get the 1500 coins I spent for the crystal.

Second, is that the Floating Islands don’t stack. Everything before that stacks, but once you get 3 of the Floating Islands (which is very hard to do), they just sit there. I don’t know if you should just get gold for them, or a giant floating island, or what, but it should be something. The church’s go to cathedrals, then to treasure chests. Floating Islands could do that. But they need to become something.

Third- is that l wish there was a 9x9 board. It’s Triple Town! Everything is in 3s. Why are we limited to 6x6s? That’s 2 sets of 3s.
It should be 3 sets of 3s wide and 3 sets of 3s tall!

I adore this game though. I’ve been playing it for over a decade now, and it’s such a classic fun game.
Spry Fox- it’s been more than a decade. It’s been 12 years- 4 sets of 3s! Give Triple Town some more love! You owe it to the villagers and bears!

Developer Response ,

There is one more thing you can build after Floating Castle. It intentionally requires 4 Floating Castles (or 3 plus a Crystal), not 3. You can learn more here: https://support.spryfox.com/hc/en-us/articles/218503228
