App Description

The app of the Veronelli guide edition 2012 is addressed to expert and enthusiastic consumers who are looking for a new and convenient way to get information and references for Italian wines. It is also user-friendly for occasional consumers and tourists who are interested in an easy and practical way to know an extraordinary world which is always full of new and original choices, deeply connected with the regions of Italy.

I Vini di Veronelli 2012 describes 2,978 wineries and 17,422 wines from every part of Italy which are tasted and tested. As the Guide, the Application offers a database divided by region as well as by town.

Short descriptions and wine reviews are given for each winery, followed by their address and telephone number, website and email. Each entry also has additional, information to help the users find exactly what they are looking for: Olive oil, cheese, specialty items, spirits, and a variety of Italian meats, all made by hand; Bed & Breakfast; Organic and/or Natural Wines

All that is necessary to understand the reality and the setting of the various producers of wine comes with the APP.

For each reviewed wine, the year tested is reported, and Guida Veronelli's editors give their evaluation: the numbers of bottles produced, the recommended years, the kind of wine-making, and the price range.

A convenient and efficient search function makes this application a very valuable instrument able to provide in a few "clicks" an immediate answer to a query by curious wine enthusiasts. Specifically, it is possible to search by producer or wine, together with the opportunity to personalize different parameters by price, wine, taste, direct or indirect selling, and more.

The AroundMe function also allows users to discover which wineries are nearby or how to easily find a specific location through the integrated maps (Google Maps).

The application also conveniently contains a series of short chapters broken down by region that are dedicated to "The places for finr drinking" published for the first time in the 2012 edition of the Veronelli Guide. A rigorous selection of the best restaurants assists in the search for quality food accompanied by the best Italian wines.
