Description

Teach your child about the world of professions.

My Profession - a fun, exciting matching game with voice recording feature - teaches the child about the world of the professions. The game helps develop visual perception skills and cognitive skills, such as conceptualization and categorization. With parental assistance it can also develop language ability through the naming of the various images. It is designed for children aged 4.5+ years old.

HOW TO PLAY: Each board consists of five conceptually matching pairs (for example, a cook and his utensils). The goal of the game is to match the pairs by dragging them to the center.

This game is one of a series of educational games for kids by MyFirstApp.com. We believe that learning, playing, exploring and experimenting is what children do best. Children are fascinated with the wonderful, exciting world around them. With the touch pads revolution a whole new world of games is evolving - opening new horizons for the very young. Thus, young children can now enjoy colorful, exciting new games, helping them acquire new cognitive and fine motor skills. MyFirstApp.com helps bringing this new and enriching world to the curious little fingers of young children.

Would be better with a few changes

I like the setup of the app but wouldn't use it because of the pictures. Like other reviews have mentioned, I do not understand the picture that the bellhop is supposed to be matched with. Also, why show a judge with a wig? I'm not sure if all countries have gotten rid of these traditions, but where I live judges don't wear old fashioned wigs anymore and nurses don't wear hats with crosses on them. Another thing I don't like is the tool for the military person. This app is for children. Couldn't that job be matched with a helicopter, boat, or helmet instead of a weapon? At least until they are old enough to understand? Thanks for reading!

Good App

This is a good app with one exception, the doorman. The tool that is matched with the doorman is one I am not familiar with nor can I find anyone who can identify it. Because of this, I am reluctant to attach audio to this board because I have no idea what to state as the name of the tool associated with the doorman. It is for this reason that I have rated the app three stars. I wish the makers of the app would attach text to the pictures or eliminate the doorman.
