App DescriptionSeconds is a programmable interval timer that can be used for many things, from fitness and martial arts, to trumpet practice and sunbathing.
Seconds TBT is a slimmed down version of Seconds Pro that allows you to time a Tabata workout at the touch of a button. No configurations to mess around with, just tap and go.
Large Display and Color Coding
Seconds boasts a stylish and clear timer display that can easily be read from a distance. You may switch to landscape mode by rotating your device which makes reading the display even easier by increasing the text size to as large as it can be. You can also apply a color to the background of the timer for each interval to provide other visual cues.
Simple yet Powerful
Seconds Pro provides timer wizards to allow you to create timers for common interval training methods. Included so far are wizards for HIIT timers, round timers and circuit training timers. If the wizards don't fit your needs, you are able to build a timer from scratch or you duplicate an existing timer and alter it to your exact requirements. Seconds TBT comes with one preinstalled timer for Tabata workouts.
Sound Schemes and Text to Speech
Seconds Pro comes with a variety of sound schemes. These range from simple beeps, through to MMA airhorns and boxing bells. For situation where you can't see the screen of your device Seconds can read out the name of the intervals in your timer. This is perfect for circuit training timers. Seconds TBT uses the Text to Speech sound scheme so you know exactly where you are in your workout.
Social and Sharing
Seconds can update your favourite social networks with a description and link to your timer when it completes. Currently supported are Facebook and Twitter (iOS5 only). Seconds Pro users will be able to import your timers by visiting the timer link and tapping the import button.
Seconds allows you to play individual tracks, or random tracks from a playlist, during an interval. This has many uses but the original use is to provide different music for the different intensities of a HIIT workout. However, if you'd rather not use this feature you are still able to play the iPod/Music app in the background.
