This app exhibits all of the entries for the 2011 AIA Los Angeles Design Awards, allowing the user an unprecedented look at the best designs from the leading architectural practices working in Los Angeles today. The simple and ‘easy to use’ interface makes this app an enjoyable and valuable archive for future reference.

The annual AIA Los Angeles Design Awards honors excellence in works built by Los Angeles architects (Design Awards) as well as those yet to be realized (Next LA Awards). The categories include: Commercial / Mixed-use, Institutional / Civic, Educational, Single-Family Residential, Multi-Unit Residential, Adaptive Re-Use / Renovation / Historic Preservation, Interior Architecture, Cityscapes, and Installations. A panel of distinguished design professional and critics evaluate the works – granting awards of Citation, Merit, and Honors. This year the jury members are: James Cutler FAIA, Mary Griffin FAIA, Mack Scogin AIA, Alan Hess, Lilian Pfaff, and Robert Somol.
