The light of wisdom is a term used by the Buddha, it is likened to a torch that illuminates the path in darkness, but it is not the path itself; It is likened to the finger pointing at the moon, but it is not the moon.
The Buddha discovered the Truth of Nature and taught the Dhamma for the benefit of all mankind and the world. Universality and timelessness are two most distinct characteristics of the Dhamma of our Lord of Buddha.
