Confucius, the founder of Confucianism, is one of the greatest philosophers in history. He lived in China from 551 B.C. to 479 B.C. and his unusual name, Confucius, means literally in Chinese "Master Kong", although it is often written as "Kung Fu Tse."
The basis of the Confucian doctrine is to highlight the ancient teachings of Chinese culture and influence people's habits.
The essence of his teachings and his philosophy is condensed into the good conduct of life, the good governance of the State (charity, justice and respect for the hierarchy), care of tradition, study and meditation.
The Temples, Mansion and Cemetery Forest are in Qufu, his hometown, located in the southern province of Shandong.
