App Description

Speed Clock is now on iPhone!!! This application is for baseball, softball, football, soccer, archery, volleyball, tennis, and hockey players, parents, coaches, and fans. With the click of a button you can measure the speed of a pitchers pitch almost like a Radar Gun!

Unlike other forms of gauging speed, you will get an accurate speed for the distance traveled rather than a speed during a given moment. Drag and gravity slow objects while they are traveling so getting a reading for the complete distance traveled is more accurate than the reading of a single moment in time. Don't settle for inflated speeds, get accurate speeds.

The accuracy of this app is dependent on the correct distance being input and the accuracy of your click/release. After a few tries you will have it down like a champion. Simply select your sports, select the speed measurement you want (MPH, KPH, or FPS). Enter in the distance the ball/object will travel. Press down on the trigger when the ball/object is released and release the trigger when the ball/object is caught or completes the distance.

For your convenience it also keeps track of pitch count as well as an average of the 3 most recent speeds. This gives you even greater accuracy on determining the actual speed.
