GIOVANNI BATTISTA TIEPOLO (March 5, 1696 – March 27, 1770), also known as Gianbattista or Giambattista Tiepolo was the unchallenged lion of Venetian painters of the Rococo period and, indeed, all of the 18th century. His characteristic style displays numerous active figures in vivid pastel colors ranged across vast, airy spaces.

Tiepolo was the greatest Italian Rococo  painter, although his style was founded on the Grand Manner of the High Renaissance. His imaginative decorative frescoes  are light in colour and airy in feel. We have included here some of the greatest paintings by him like "A Vision of the Trinity", "An Allegory with Venus and Time", "The Banquet of Cleopatra", "Four Saint", ect….
