App Description

Braille Now is an app designed to teach sighted persons how to recognize the Braille letters a-z. Braille letters are represented as a set of dots in a rectangle. The dots are not random, they are arranged in a logical and learnable pattern. You can learn this alphabet buy spending just a few minutes each day with Braille now and paying attention to the patterns that form the words.

Braille Now uses common (and not so common) words to teach you the letters and the words can be pronounced if a WiFi connection is available. A detail view for each word is available that will provide a full definition of the word.

You can keep track of your progress with the saved results shown as a percentage of correct choices. Strive to achieve a higher percentage with each session to insure your Braille recognition is progressing.
