QR Code Wiz will detect several encoded formats including vCard, vEvent (Calendar Events), Phone numbers, SMS, Geo locations and hyperlinks in QR codes and provide context relevant actions, e.g. add a vEvent to your phone's calendar or add a vCard to your address book.

QR Code Wiz provides a way to add a user readable text to QR codes (limited to 7 characters). When you create a calendar event QR code, you can add a visible text, for example, that reads "Join Us". Or create a vCard and add a human readable "Call Me" to the generated QR code. QR codes generated with visible text are internally scanned and verified readable without error.
