FLIGHTTEST 2012 continues your journey in getting to know just what some of the best and coolest aircraft in the world actually feel like to fly - with this edition taking you into the hotseat of 10 more cracking rides.

Chief among them all is arguably the most evocative aircraft yet built: the legendary Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird spy plane, the fastest and highest-flying jet ever built! Despite its top secret status its silhouette alone is instantly recognisable, and just 93 US Air Force pilots ever got to fly it. We speak to long-time SR-71 commander Col Rich Graham about just what the Mach 3.5 'Bird was like to fly, how he felt piloting one of the greatest achievements of aeronautical design, and the numerous challenges overcome in creating an engineering masterpiece.
