Why create a plain QR code when you can create a smooth and attention-grabbing Fancy QR code?
Even though they are not "blocky" like the typical qr codes, fancy QR codes are fully compatible with other qr code decoders.
Select from several built-in static templates or select the "wild card" template and let the application use random colors. If you like the colors and would like to re-use them, you can save them as a user template.
Create and scan/decode qr codes with in the same app.
Fast scanning/decoding.
FancyQR will detect several encoded formats including vCard, vEvent (Calendar Events), Phone numbers, SMS, Geo locations and hyperlinks in QR codes and provide context relevant actions, e.g. add a vEvent to your phone's calendar or add a vCard to your address book.
FancyQR provides a way to add a user readable text to QR codes (limited to 7 characters). When you create a calendar event QR code, you can add a visible text, for example, that reads "Join Us". Or create a vCard and add a human readable "Call Me" to the generated QR code. QR codes generated with visible text are internally scanned and verified readable without error.
