Safe Taxi is an application designed for your personal safety. It's also planned to be used as a tool for sending help messages + a link of your exact location via Twitter using a Timer. Now, why a Timer? Because, in the worst case scenario and most likely to happen… your iPhone will be the first thing taken from you by the "Bad guys", but they won't know that you already set a Timer to reach for HELP! with your exact location so your Twitter followers can then reach you.

Safe Taxi is a small but significant way to fight kidnapping. It can also be used in many other ways, like retrieving your current location (map URL & full address), getting complete and instant information about where you are (state, city, P.O.box, street,house number,country code, coordinates, etc). You can share your map URL and full address through E-mail anytime also. In case of a Taxi, just set the approximate Time you should be in your destination, pick a message and Go !!, if you get there in time and safely, just Cancel it, as simple as that. In today's crazy world, it's always a good idea to prevent rather than regret. A Timer+ iPhone's GPS technology & the latest Twitter integration, gives you an array of ways to apply it.
Safe Taxi uses a combination of technologies such as GPS, Cell towers & Wifi triangulation to give you the most accurate/non interruptive information on your position. It's also design to only use this location technology when the timer is off, therefore, saving important battery life for your device. (GPS drains the iPhone battery life very fast).
