App Description

The Magpie acts just like any good magpie should; it collects the things that inspire you, storing them as future reference for your design decisions. We often need to express the things we like, by storing these memories we have a great wealth of visual language with which to explain our design needs to others.

Where do ideas come from?

“I was very lucky to have been taught by a wonderful scupltor called Eduardo Paolozzi and he said to me ‘Collect as many ideas into your brain as you possibly can, go round museums, go round markets, go round shops. Pick up all these ideas and store them away, becuase you'll be able to use them later in your life'.” Sir Terence Conran.

You can collect photos, videos, audio clips or make notes.
Simply collect your findings in the app or output them by emailing beautifully organised PDFs that share your personal mood boards with others.

Look through and organise your collections. Select the one you wish to view, you now have the option to add new items, edit (remove and reorder the items) or output – allowing you to email a PDF of the mood board
