Background
---------
Thor is the god of thunder based on the Norse mythological deity of the same name. Thor and Loki are the two children of Odin who both aspire to one day become King. Only one of them will become king and he will be the one who will be able to lift the magic hammer of lightning.

When Thor is about to be crowned as king, a small group of frost giants infiltrate Asgard to steal an artifact. In a brash moment of folly and arrogance, Thor travels to Jotunheim, home of the frost giants to threaten the leader of the frost giants, inciting a fierce war.

Odin banishes Thor to Earth as punishment for his mistake. Meanwhile, Loki schemes to usurp the throne.
