About this App
Get the most out of your day with the official app for the LA Times Festival of Books. Create your own schedule, read more about authors/performers, use maps to navigate the Festival grounds and parking, get the latest Festival updates and more.
Features Include:
Schedule Info: Click on any Conversation or performance to see when/where they are happening, get a description and a list of participants/authors. You can also drill down to author/performer bios.
Custom Schedule: Add filters by day and/or genre to drill down to what you want to see. Use bookmarks to add or remove schedule items to your personal Custom Schedule.
Author/Performer Listings: View a list of all participating authors/performers, view their bios and see when/where they will speak/perform.
Full Search: Search by schedule title or author/performer name to quickly locate information.
Festival News: View the Festival newsfeed with up-to-date tweets from the event, including parking information.
Maps: Use maps to navigate the Festival grounds and locate parking lots.
Public Transportation: Get information to Go Metro to the Festival.
Food: Find out what to eat and where.
Social Media: Post photos directly to Facebook into a Festival of Books album or email them. Update your Facebook status and tweet what you are doing at the Festival.
Exhibitors: See the full list of who is exhibiting at the Festival.
Short Survey: Tell us what you thought of the Festival and enter to win a $250 independent bookstore gift card.
