App Description

Good Food for Friends has been featured by Apple in the WHAT'S HOT section and in "Apps for the Bank Holiday".

It is part of a family of Good Food apps. Other iPhone recipe apps include One-pot, Healthy, Cake, Quick and Festive Recipes. We've also got Healthy and Quick Recipes on the iPad as well as the BBC Good Food magazine iPad app.*

About Good Food for Friends:

How’s about this – plan a menu then invite your friends to dinner – all in one app!

Our Good Food for Friends app has 170 recipes, arranged into starters, mains and puddings – which means you can easily create a lunch or dinner menu. We’ve included 30 drinks and canapé recipes, too. To get you started, we’ve themed the recipes, for example: curry night, show-off suppers and family-friendly.

So, maybe it’ll be Melty onion toasts, followed by Sticky chilli roast chicken and a Little iced lemon mousse?

Once you’ve decided, connect to your friends on Facebook (through the app), or, simply email them the date, time and menu using your own email (we’ll take care of setting up the email, you just fill in the details).

We’ve also included some tips on entertaining, such as how to feed a crowd, and best ways to clear up once your guests have left.

As with our other apps, you can add ingredients to your shopping list, then see ingredients by 'aisle'.

Depending on where you are in the world, or your preference, you can choose to view recipes by metric or Imperial measurements. Each recipe includes nutritional information per serving for kcals, protein, carbs, fat, saturated fat, fibre, sugar and salt. You can save recipes to Favourites and send to a friend, too.
