EHeliCalc application is a practical tool for RC model helicopter enthusiasts.
Its purpose is to help with a selection of the right motor, battery and pinion
for high performance electric helicopter models.
It provides the following functions:
(1)Calculation of a pinion for desired rotor head speed.
Given the parameters of the main gear, motor, motor efficiency and battery voltage, it calculates suitable pinion for achieving the required rotor head speed.
(1)Calculation of the head speed for a given pinion.
Given the pinion, main gear, motor, motor efficiency and battery voltage,
it calculates resulting rotor head speed.
Both functions present the calculated results in three formats:
•immediate calculation on the screen (motor RPM, gear ratio, pinion, head speed)
•plotted values of the head speed and pinion in tabular view
•plotted values of the head speed and pinion in graph view
