LocAlerts™ is a reminder notification system based off of location rather than time. Next time you are near any of your alert locations, LocAlerts™ notifies you with an alarm sound and a visual alert. Just like an alarm clock, LocAlerts™ runs in the background so you never have to think about it!

Use LocAlerts™ to remind you:

There are several ways you can create alerts. You can perform a search on the map and create alerts from any of the search results. For instance, if you need to be alerted when you are near your local home improvement store, but don't know its address, you can search for it by name or by 'home improvement.' You can also create a location alert by selecting a contact from your Address Book, by entering an address, or by dropping a pin on the map.

Not only can you create alerts anywhere, but you can control the alert radius—how far away you should be from a location before LocAlerts™ notifies you. It's quick and easy to change the alert radius by dragging the radius on the map to include landmarks and intersections.

By default, LocAlerts™ provides great accuracy of alerting with efficient battery usage. However, you can also modify it to be either more accurate or save more battery life. LocAlerts™ also goes into a battery-saving mode when your battery is below 20 percent. Although we have sophisticated algorithms that are very effective at preserving battery life, we must warn, as with any location-enabled app, that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
