Bringing your top game performance to the arena means properly maintained skates to match your hockey skills!
This app will help you manage your skate blades during the hockey season.
When you get off the ice, record the amount of time your game, practice or training session lasted. When the blade indicator turns from green to amber and ultimately to red, itʼs time to visit your favourite Pro Shop to get your skates sharpened again.
Many Pro Shops offer discounts by pre purchasing skate sharpening in either 10 or 12 packs but how many times have you lost the voucher you received when you purchased the discounted skate sharpening? Sharp Sk8s allows you to "digitally" manage your discount voucher ensuring you receive the skate sharpening you paid for!
But what happens if you are away at a hockey tournament or at another arena and Sharp Sk8s indicates you could use a skate sharpening? Since the local Pro Shop won't accept your discount card from your favourite Pro Shop, Sharp Sk8s allows you to have your skates sharpened keeping track of ice time and the amount of discounted sharpening left on your card!
Dropping off your skates at your favourite Pro Shop to pick up later? Use the built in alarm reminder to remind you to return and pick up your skates before closing time.
Nothing is more annoying than forgetting a piece of hockey equipment at home after arriving at the arena! How many times has Mom or Dad had to race home and return with the missing item before your game starts? Not any more, make sure you show up to the rink or skill centre with all of your hockey gear. Use the Hockey Bag checklist to pack your gear making sure that everything you need is in your hockey bag before you arrive at the arena.
