Now healthcare-system pharmacy employees can easily keep track of current shortages with the KRS-GBT Drug Shortage Application.
By combining RSS feeds from the FDA and ASHP, KRS-GBT has developed an all-inclusive application for mobile devices that provides information about products affected by drug shortages.
This app not only provides information about drugs affected by shortages, but also cross-references the FDA and ASHP lists with KRS-GBT’s formulary so pharmacy buyers will have a quick, simple solution to their drug shortage needs. If an item is available from KRS-GBT the app will notify the user and make obtaining the drug as simple as touching the phone number on the screen to dial KRS-GBT.
