Download Snow Days for free and check the probability of school closing in your area at any time and from any location!
The application takes into account a variety of winter weather events that may play a role in the decision whether to cancel school, including snow, ice, and extreme cold. It considers not only the actual weather, but its likely impact on road and travel conditions. It also takes into account local climatology. For example, an inch of snow in northern Florida may lead to school cancellation, while it will likely take a much greater snow accumulation to cancel school in the Great Lakes snow belts.
The Snow Days Forecast is not intended as a replacement for official school closings and delay notices, which come directly from your school district. It should never be used as a reason not to prepare to go to school or postpone doing school work.
