App Description
Type or paste text and have it read to you in a computer generated voice.
Unlike some other similar applications this will read long passages of text, even whole eBooks whilst showing you the current phrase being spoken and overall progress.
Also includes a voice pitch control to allow you to have fun with the voice, you can set it anywhere between a low deep slow pitch or a high fast squeaky one.
Text is automatically saved making this effectively a voice enabled notepad application. Anything you add, plus some included samples can be accessed at any future time.
Includes four voices:
- Tom: male, 8Khz, fast but lower quality than the others
- Ian: male, 16Khz
- Bob: male, 16Khz
- Kim: female, 16Khz
System Requirements:
- on older devices 16KHz voices may be slow with long passages of text
