App Description
Foodist is a nutrition tracking app designed for rapid and efficient use. Foodist provides a daily nutrient tally, a summary of nutrient group ranges, and both weekly & monthly averages. It has a barcode scanner that currently covers a small number of foods, and it has a built-in data set covers 7570 additional foods from which you can choose. It has a Recent Foods button that brings up a list of your most commonly consumed foods. Foodist's built-in data set uses food data from the US government, plus many additional foods that I have entered by hand. Foodist runs on the iPad, iPad Mini, iPhones and iPod Touch. Foodist supports storing your nutrient data to HealthKit on devices that support it, typically the iPhone. Lastly Foodist provides bar graphs of calories, carbs, and saturated fat.
