Cocktail tour of Washington D.C.Looking for a fun night out in a new city, or maybe something different to do in your own town?
Cocktail Zen is a walking tour featuring bars where mixing cocktails is well beyond tapping a draft into a warm mug, but instead where concocting hand-crafted, intriguing cocktails has become an art form. These bartenders are masters of their trade, and want to share their creations with you.
We'll guide you to some of the city's best bars, restaurants, and cocktail lounges, within walking distance, and recommend delicious libations. Touch the map and follow the tour we have outlined, or create your own. Detailed maps, directions, and GPS are part of the package.
Each location includes interesting information - maybe about how the drink evolved, notable sights nearby, or the history behind the spirits used in the concoction. Tap to listen to the audio narration or read it on your own. And, each location has photos of the bar, photos of the drink, and drink recipes. Narration and maps are in English.
Once the tour is downloaded, it is self-contained on your phone - no internet connection needed.
Perfect for entertaining out-of-town guests, a novel girls night, or an interesting date. Cocktail aficionados and novices alike will learn something new.
