*Katakune - An Award-winning Cartoon Series for Preschoolers*

Katakune is a delightful and award-winning 3D animated cartoon series created for children 2 to 6 from Character Farm. Already broadcasted in TV stations around the world, Swag Soft has now licensed Katakune to be distributed as iPhone applications.

What Does Katakune Teach?
Katakune is designed to fill the gaps where most preschooler cartoons fail to do so. While most preschooler cartoons focused mainly on things like counting and spelling, Katakune places emphasis on social interaction and EQ based topics.
Educational and entertaining, Katakune shows children simple ways to deal with complex concepts of social responsibility, friendship, life skills and value systems. Subjects in basic science, geography, mathematics, health and hygiene, environmental issues and creativity are dealt with too.

What’s in Every Katakune Application?

Every application contains 10 minutes’ worth of beautiful animation, broken down into 5 easy to watch episodes, all evolving around a universal theme. It could be about social topics like honesty, friendship, responsibility, learning or fun discovery topics like hot air balloons, plants, food, tea, toys, etc. Every application also contains beautifully rendered wallpapers from the episodes and trivia regarding the characters and every episode.
There are a total of 52 delightful Katakune applications to collect!

What’s in This Application?

*Episode 11 – Spray Paint*

Katakune is very excited that he has found a can of colour spray paint. He starts painting all over town, but causes a lot of inconvenience for the others!

Objective – Inculcates in kids the need to respect public places and the natural environment and encourages them to display their talents the proper way.

*Episode 12 – A Brand New Cap*

Katakune, Louie and Benny are painting together. Louie is the first to finish and in his excitement he flings his brush, and it lands right on Katakune's cap! Poor Katakune is upset because it's his favourite cap. Benny suggests that Katakune paints over the stain to hide it and make his cap look more interesting. Katakune agrees to try it out and the idea works a treat!

Objective – Encourages creativity in kids.

*Episode 13 – Water Proofing Art*

Katakune's receives many praises from his friends for his new cap. But not long after, the colours on his cap start to fade from the weather. Teacher Ronald tells Katakune that he should use permanent paints to draw on his cap and use some waterproofing spray to protect it from the weather. Katakune follows Teacher Ronald's advice, and now his cap is completely weather proof.

Objective - Introduces the differences
between water and permanent colours and imparts handy tips for water proofing art creations.

*Episode 14 – Handicraft Party*

It seems that Katakune has started a trend! Everybody is following suit and creating his own work of art!
Objective - Encourages creativity in kids through illustrating the different types of handicrafts that can be created and illustrates how creating handicrafts can be a fun and constructive way to spend time with friends.

*Episode 15 – Grafitti Trouble!*

Katakune reads a book on graffiti art style and gets the idea to create the ultimate piece of artwork. He enlists the help of Louie and Benny to paint a mural on a wall. The next day Katakune returns to admire their work of art only to find Willy busy cleaning it off. Woody sternly tells Katakune that public property is not for painting on, as it belongs to everyone!

Objective - Inculcates in kids the importance of respecting public property.
