WHAT ARE USERS ARE SAYING:
"There are seemingly endless Flickr clients for the iPad, but this is the one I use most. Why? Because it is the first one that actually makes it feel like you are browsing real printed photographs." - WIRED
"I love it. I dont use Facebook, but I can vouch that Flickpad is a great way to browse Flickr. Its one of those things that feels better and more natural on the iPad than it ever could on a Mac. You dont spend much time touching UI controls you touch photos. Check out the screencast and see for yourself." - John Gruber, Daring Fireball
"... the Shacked Apps guys stepped up their game and released the best Flickr and Facebook photo browser for iPad." - MacStories
"I've only been playing with this app for about 5 minutes or so and i've already decided that this is the coolest ipad app i've downloaded yet. There are a lot of cool apps out there but most of them - besides taking advantage of the bigger screen - don't "do" much more than their iphone counterparts, but this app exudes ipad." - Aaron (App Store Review)
"This app is really what the ipad is all about-- viewing information in new, innovative ways." - Shakes840 (App Store Review)
"I would buy an iPad JUST for this application!" - Max Williamson, Flickr user
Because it is fun. We love photos and we assume you do as well. We feel that photos are meant to be enjoyed first and organized last. Actually, we think they should organize themselves but that is a different app. It is with this 'fun first' in mind that we designed Flickpad. It makes keeping up with the latest photos your friends and family are posting on Facebook and Flickr really fun and really fast. Flickpad makes extensive use of multi-touch, so make sure to check out the in-app help menu and feel free to experiment with different touches, taps, and pinches. Flickpad was not designed as a general purpose photo management app, 'organize last' remember, so please keep that in mind in deciding if Flickpad is for you.
