It was about time! We've made the user interface even cleaner - added the ability to hide it completely, and now let you share what you're seeing via Facebook and Twitter. The flash is used to light up the image when you touch the 'flashlight' icon on screen. It is only on when you want it on. With that said, continued use of the flash may dramatically decrease battery life.
