What's New

Increased stability and better user experience

App Description

ThumbStruck is the best of social-networking and storytelling. It's the mobile application that allows users to improvisationally write stories together through two methods of interaction: "What's The Word?" and "What's The Story?"

"What's The Word?" allows two users to complete an ad-lib story where the first user selects a short story that is missing words, and sends it to a second ThumbStruck friend. The second user gets notified and is prompted to fill in the blanks of the story. The often times hilarious results are then sent back to both users. It's just like the classic MadLibs™, but we made it interactive between two devices for more fun!

Use the ThumbSaurus if you're stumped (ergo, "thumbstruck") for a word to fill in the blanks!

"What's The Story?" allow users to tell a story in a group. Once a story length is chosen and the 4 writers have been selected, ThumbStruck provides the first sentence and then users complete the story by adding on to each other's sentences via a series of push notifications noting that "the pen has been passed to you."
