This is it. Movie Juxtaposer. The App Store's most TEDIOUS app.

Seriously - unless you're a relentless movie fanatic, this thing will drive you batty. And even if you ARE a relentless movie fanatic, it still might drive you batty.

The goal here, of course, was not to drive you batty. This is a tool I developed to create my own rankings of movies I've seen, based on various criteria and qualities.

It got out of hand.

The crux of the problem is that each movie you've ever seen needs to be compared to every other movie you've ever seen, along multiple quality scales, for the thing to produce meaningful results. It could take a LONG time to make all those comparisons.

Still, if your brain works like mine does, and you want to create personalized, hyper-accurate rankings of movies you've seen (and you have a lot of free time on your hands), this app is for you. You might be surprised to see which movies bubble up to the top of your lists.

Remember, though, you've been warned. This thing can be MONOTONOUS.

A few notes:

* Movie Juxtaposer is HIGHLY customizable. The movie list, quality scales, and rankings can all be modified to your heart's content. See my support web site for the gory details.

* You can share your rankings with friends via email. Use the button in the upper right of a movie ranking page.

* And just to head off some potential confusion at the pass: This app does NOT play movies or provide a way to obtain movies.
