App Description

iGoldFinder is a virtual gold prospecting App,
with a Dynamic GPS readout

Features more than 50 annotations of locations
in Alaska and the Yukon where gold was found,
and where gold can still be found today!

Zoom in to see the virtual "gold found" hot spots.

You could visit these locations in person,
or by using this App.

Your current location is highlighted
with a blue "map pin".

iGoldFinder map has red pins for
gold found locations.

Use one finger, double tap to "zoom in",
use two fingers, single tap, to "zoom out".

This map has all of the zoom and pan
gestures found on Maps.

If you are interested in Alaskan gold locations,
this is the App for you.

There are millions of dollars in gold
still to be found.

An easy and informative App,
and also shows current gold prices.

A user friendly App, just pick a location
and double tap to zoom in on the actual
Hybrid, Map or Satellite view.

You can observe the terrain and river features
of these sites where gold has been found.

Use the info page to check the current price of gold
and other gold related information.

Tap the nuggets button to view actual
Alaskan nuggets, use to reference
gold nuggets found.

This App can be used as an educational tool for the
young, or for anyone interested in virtual prospecting.
