-REALSKI 3.0 has an updated user experience for easier viewing and more direct access to additional features.
-While at a resort, you can view GPS-enabled trail maps when device is tilted flat. REALSKI now supports two navigation modes; the "traditional" Augmented Reality view when the device is oriented up and a new trail map view when the device is oriented flat. Both fully support GPS positioning so you'll know where you are at on the mountain.
-While at a resort, you can track your performance on the mountain with REALSKI's new vertical tracking feature. Record your movement at the resort to review overall statistics including total vertical, run count, maximum speed and more! See your route on a map and share with friends.

App Description

REALSKI® is the first augmented reality (AR) trail map application for ski resorts. REALSKI® requires the iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4 since it utilizes the compass, camera, and GPS features to overlay ski runs and key points of interest for some of the most popular mountain resorts across North America.

Point your phone like a camera and watch as chairlift names, runs, facilities, and activities pop up over your iPhone's live camera view. REALSKI has over 80 additional maps are available for purchase from within the application. For a complete list of the maps available for resorts throughout North America, visit the REALSKI support website. Note: These maps are not “official” trail maps. REALSKI is not affiliated with the mountain resorts listed.

Virtual Visit Mode:
Experience the augmented reality of REALSKI, even if you’re not at a resort. With Virtual Visit you can see augmented reality markers for the fictional Moose Creek Resort pop-up over your iPhone camera's current view. Even though you might be scanning your living room, you can enjoy the augmented reality experience as if you were standing on the mountain!
