App Description

Interested in finding out what facilities are around you or what the company you are looking at does? Do you want to know about their compliance with U.S. environmental laws? This application allows users to retrieve and map nearby commercial and publicly-owned facilities regulated under the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, or the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. The map icons present each facility's current compliance status and when they were last inspected by an EPA, state, tribal, or local environmental official. The facility drilldown presents details regarding what permits they hold and the three-year compliance history of the facility, including: inspections, compliance history, and enforcement actions taken.
