Everyone knows the market for iPhone applications is huge right now, and growing larger every day. With the billionth application recently being downloading from the App Store everyone wants to get in on a piece of the action. AppTank is your chance to get in on the iPhone application craze and see your thoughts carried from idea to implementation.
AppTank provides you with a "Brainstorm" location where you can jot down quick ideas and add to them over time, working out all the details of your dream application right on your phone. Once you have an idea completed, you can submit it to the TsunamiDSL team using the AppTank application.
We love developing iPhone apps and we realize that there are many people who lack the time or tools to do the actual development work. AppTank is our offering to those people with great ideas floating around in their heads!
With AppTank you are able to submit ideas to our development team, have those ideas developed for the iPhone, and then receive a portion of the proceeds from sales of your idea!
Each user of the AppTank application is able to submit as many ideas as they like for review by our development team. Approved ideas will move through the development process to eventually be listed on the App Store (after Apple approval). The submitter of an idea which goes up for sale on the AppStore will receive 25% of the profit from sales of the application taken after the AppStore fees.
With AppTank you are able to stay up-to-date on each of your submissions and see where in the development process each is. Once an idea has been submitted you are able to check it's status right on your iPhone using the PIN code you will be given when you submit your first idea! Maybe your idea will be the next big app like iFart, Moron Test, or iBeer.

Q: Why do you charge for AppTank?
A: AppTank sales for a nominal fee for a number of reasons: Much of the upfront cost of AppTank actually goes to pay for the development and maintenance of the AppTank application, enabling us to continue accepting new ideas from our users. Additionally, during beta testing we found that placing a small fee on the application lead to users giving more thought to their submissions which resulted in many higher quality submissions which we were able to focus on more thoroughly and carry through to development far faster than if the application was freely available.
Q: What are the requirements to submit an idea?
A: To submit an idea you must first download the AppTank application. Once you have it installed you must input your email address and name which will be saved along with each submission you make. After that information has been saved, you are free to submit ideas! If your application is approved for sale, you will need a PayPal account to receive payments. At this time other forms of payment are not available.
Q: What happens to my idea if you reject it?
A: If your idea is not chosen for development TsunamiDSL releases the rights to that idea back to you upon receipt of the email stating the idea was rejected. Unlike many development teams, we take this approach to help our users so that even if we feel an idea will not be successful you are not hindered from taking it elsewhere for development.
