Ballpark Envi brings Web-based photos of big-league ball fields to your phone, along with in-depth information on the parks an teams. It's a great way to tour the home fields of all the Major League teams, or to take a nostalgic walk through the past glory of a bygone era.
From the first serious pro park, Shibe, to the latest architectural wonders, from the "House That Ruth Built" and Fenway Park to the new Yankee Stadium and Target Field, Ballpark Envi displays Web-based stadium photos the way you would expect on the iPhone: full screen, with multi-touch controls, in automated slide shows, Ken Burns effect moving pictures and scrolling image arrays. Shea Stadium, the Polo Grounds, Dodger Stadium, Wrigley Field, and countless other homes for Major League franchises. Ballpark Envi brings them all from the Web to you, organized by league and team. With Ballpark Envi, your iPhone becomes your own personal field of dreams.
The app is also more than just a bunch of pretty pictures. It includes access to in-depth information on the parks, including seating charts, and even the ability to view their locations in the Maps application. And you can add even more in-depth collections on other fun topics from the app itself.
