What's New

** Fixes problem where your iPhone or iPod touch could go to sleep while you're drawing. Sketchr will now keep the screen from sleeping while it's running.

** "Tell a friend about sketchr" feature now sends an email with a correct link to sketchr in the App Store. Previously it would send an App Store link that didn't work properly.

App Description

You know why you loved your old Etch A Sketch.

It was challenging. It was elegant. It was simple, and yet the drawings you could make from that single grey line -- if you put your mind to it -- could be very cool.

sketchr brings that fun and challenge to the iPhone and iPod touch. Like the original Etch A Sketch, sketchr doesn't have lots of fancy colors, brushes, shapes, pictures, or other whiz-bang stuff. The fun is the challenge, and the challenge is drawing with just that simple line and simple controls.

But instead of using two white knobs, you draw in sketchr by leaning and tilting your iPhone or iPod touch! sketchr uses the accelerometer to sense the screen's angle, and the line draws as if sliding down the slope. And if you mess up, just shake it to erase and start over.

Give it a try -- it's fun and strangely addicting!
