App Description

SpellFlyer is the first in a series of childrens edutainment applications design to engage a childs sense of wonder and adventure while also introducing them to important learning. SpellFlyer helps children learn their ABCs and also to spell simple 3 and 4 letter words. As such, it is specifically designed for kids as young as 3 years old.

1. Learn the ABCs by flying through the clouds which contain the right letter clouds

2. Learn to spell simple words by picking the highlighted letter clouds

Features the character voice of Lucky Tuck based on a famous WWI Royal Air Force pilot who provides guidance and encouragement all the way.

USE

After selecting the app from the iPhone deck, you will be started in the Main screen which lists the ABC and Words mode.

For ABCs, select the ABC cloud and play will start. A banner will be displayed on the bottom of the screen showing the entire alphabet. Using the accelerometer, fly the plane into the cloud with the correct letter which is highlighted in the color RED. As you collect the correct letters they will fill in the banner below. Hit the wrong cloud and Lucky Tuck will provide encouragement to complete your ABCs.

For learning to spell words, select the WORDS cloud. Clouds will appear that spell out the word and Lucky Tuck will announce the word as well. The plane will then take off and play will begin. Again, fly the play around the incorrect clouds and through the clouds with the correct letters. Lucky Tuck will congratulate you on a completed word spell.
