This program is able to help you track patients that might be abusing the system. The average physician sees about 2000-5000 patients per year. Often it is difficult to know which patients are going from the physician's office to the emergency room seeking narcotics.

In the past, the most popular mood altering drug was marijuana. Today, the most commonly abused drug is a prescribed narcotic. As health care providers, we are obligated to prevent our children from having easy access to these controlled substances.

This program will allow the user to enter the name, gender, DOB, MR number, SSN (last 6 digits), location of facility, drug class that patient prefers, any possible alias, pain doctor, last prescription date, and notes.

You may also customize any of the fields above. The program is HIPAA compliant as it is password protected. It also has an e-mail feature that the user must assure is in SSL format. This option can be selected under general preferences. Most current e-mail servers support SSL. This will allow you to continue to be HIPAA compliant.

The program will allow you to search by name or social security number. Our main disclaimer is to treat the patient. Do not be biased based on “Drug seeker status”. Create plans for pain management and have a plan for your patients that have addictive behavior, it is after all, simply another class of disease.

Support for issues that come to our attention shall be remedied in a reasonable amount of time.

PLEASE NOTE: Internet connectivity required for email submission. It is important that you have internet access to send emails.
