The Metronome is very simple use. You can adjust the slider for tempo or choose from a list of common tempos.
The Tuner displays the frequency and note you are trying to play along with your instruments frequency. Simply adjust your instrument so the two frequencies are close (+ or - 4 or less)
The interactive fingering chart shows notes chromatically in each instruments range. Check your fingering by playing the note shown. The chart will turn green if you are correct.
See something in your band music you don't understand? Search it in the dictionary to find out what it means.
Play a note and the transposition tool will show you that transposed notes in Concert Pitch, Bb, Eb and F.
Scale modes allows you to pick a scale and see each fingering chart as you play the scale. Note duration and scale size adjustable.

Incredible resource for band students and teachers
I bought this app as a band director, wanting to have quick guide for fingering charts, transpositions, and a tuner. It has all of that in one spot, plus a metronome and dictionary of musical terminology.
I would recommend this app for any band director and definitely for any band or orchestra student. Pop the phone up on the music stand and have the resources of a handful of books and charts at you fingertips.
Great app, everything you need
Solid app, clean interface and intuitive to use. I’m a band director and the best thing for me is that you’ve got several key tools you need all in one place. Simple design and tons of functionality are turning this into my “go to” tool for rehearsals and lessons.
My two biggest pros...
(1) The metronome is straight ahead and not cluttered with things I don’t need (love the tempo markings associated with set tempos!).
(2) Fingering chart with notes is crystal clear and provides a nice visual reference to show the student.
Looking for a solid, all in one app full of extremely useful tools to have on your podium during rehearsal? Look no further, you found it!
Finally this app exists!
This has everything a band wind player needs to survive in an ensemble. I can’t wait to share this with my middle school kids, especially the ones that play transposing instruments. My French horns struggle so much with concert pitch, now they’ll be able to see it as they play. Metronome, tuner, terminology dictionary, fingering chart all in one. Great app!
