TORFL GO is the first mobile application in the world to prepare for the state testing in Russian as a foreign language (TORFL).
Unlike other applications for learning Russian, TORFL GO is clearly focused on the result. TORFL GO takes into account the peculiarities of the state system of language testing of foreigners - the most authoritative in the world system for assessing Russian language proficiency.
The system consists of 6 levels: from the elementary level, which is similar to A1 level in the Common European Framework of Communicative Competences, to the fourth which is similar to C2 level. The application contains 4 most popular levels:
• Elementary,
• Basic,
• First,
• Second.
TORFL GO takes into account the specifics of the tasks of the real TORFL test: its structure, subject matter. Thus, TORFL GO will allow you to assess the knowledge of the Russian language and to test readiness for the actual passage of the TORFL test. The test consists of 5 subtests:
• Vocabulary. Grammar,
• Reading,
• Auditing,
• Speaking,
• Letter.
Each subtest aims to evaluate certain type of speech skills. Thus, Auditing assesses the ability to perceive information in Russian by ear, to process it, to understand. The material of Reading is the texts which are associated with the written form of communication. TORFL tests a full range of communicative skills.
