Impossible 300 is a private by invitation only social network for high-end art collectors. Users can only post pieces from their own valuable collections and said posts must be recognized by Impossible 300 as being part of a specially designed list of the top 300 artists from the 20th century until today. Once recognized a private and anonymous album of the user’s collection is sent to a common feed that all members can view and browse freely. The images posted showcase the particular setting where a piece of art is displayed providing other users with inspiration for how to decorate or display their own pieces. You can also privately make a bid on another member’s art piece without the risks and complications of an open auction. This does not mean that anything is actively for sale on the app. On the contrary, pieces are posted so that collectors can have their own album of valuable art in just one place, allowing them to compare and inspire new ideas. Although, as all collectors know, everything might be for sale at the right price.
