Difficult to set up and clunky to use
Whilst the content of the magazine is great. The app and sign up procedure leaves a lot to be desired. Signing up cannot be done in app (as far as I could determine), not the end of the world, signing up online was relatively straightforward. However, instead of being given a log in and immediate access as with other magazine apps, such as The Economist, you have to wait a couple of days to receive an unlock code, which also prompts you to create a secondary log in for the magazine content. Two separate log ins for the same content, so far so clunky. Once in the app you seemingly have to enter your unlock code for every single issue you want to read, instead of it being universally unlocked with one entry of the unlock code. Even following this, the app refuses to download the other issue I want to read, after clicking ‘read issue’ it simply takes me back to the last issue I was reading. Truly a shame that this app and sign up procedure lets down the hard work they put into producing the content.
Frustrating
Difficult to purchase digital content. Have given up.
