App Description

LabRdr is an experimental offline news app that learns what you like to read as you use it, and delivers a package of Guardian articles keyed to your interests twice a day, in time for your commute.

It was created by The Guardian Mobile Innovation Lab, a team in the Guardian US newsroom exploring storytelling and delivery of news on small screens. Their work is supported by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.

LabRdr features::
- You'll get alerts for your reading packages twice a day, at times you specify, for your morning and evening commutes.
- Reading packages are accessible both on and offline.
- The length of each reading package is based on the duration of your commute.
- LabRdr tracks the categories you read, then uses your most frequently read topics to recommend articles for your next reading package.
- View your reading patterns in the Log.
