App Description

The NAVLE is administered only to bona fide candidates for licensure to practice veterinary medicine. This includes candidates who (i) have graduated from or are enrolled in a school or college of veterinary medicine accredited by the Council on Education of the American Veterinary Medical Association, or (ii) are enrolled in or hold certificates issued by the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG) or Program for the Assessment of Veterinary Education Equivalence (PAVE) programs. Candidates who are enrolled in the ECFVG or PAVE must have completed the Step 3 examination requirement of the respective program before they may be approved by a licensing board to take the NAVLE. If you have not graduated from veterinary school at the time of application, you must have an expected graduation date no later than ten months from the last date of the testing window.
