App Description

In concept, Nassau is very much a match play (two player) format, but it is usually played between three or four players. Each hole is played separately, and is won by the player with the lowest net score on the hole -- that player wins 'the hole'.

Nassau is similar to Skins in that the goal is to win as many holes as possible. However, rather than totaling the holes won at the end of 18 holes, Nassau is scored as three separate matches in one:
-- Player winning the most holes on the Front 9 (first 9 holes) will win the first Nassau bet
-- Player winning the most holes on the Back 9 (last 9 holes) will win the second Nassau bet
-- Player winning the most holes over the entire 18 holes will win the third Nassau bet

At the end of the match, each player settles up based on the number of Nassau(s) they have. In this App, one Nassau will equate to $1. Most Nassau matches are played at $2 or $5 per Nassau bet - so multiply by 2 or by 5 when settling up.

When playing Nassau, it is all about winning the Nassaus, not the score; however, each stroke must be counted. So NO need to grip it and rip it if your fellow players may have already taken themselves out of the hole -- play conservative and win as many holes as possible - even if you win it with a 'quad'.

Thank you for looking at Nassau. Look for my other golf games on the App Store.
