This new version provides an update to the metadata regarding App Privacy. The developer does not collect any data from this app. It also includes iPad Pro (3rd Gen) 12.9" Display support. Project settings have been updated to recommended values. It has been updated to ensure localized resources are placed in “en.lproj” directories instead of deprecated “English.lproj” directories. The required 1024x1024 App Store icon has been added.
App Description
Explore the fascinating workings of plant and animal cells using Interactive Plant and Animal Cells. Select the topic that you wish to explore and then hit the power button to zoom off to views of the either plant or animal cells and continue tapping buttons to explore even more interesting facts. Each type of cell is illustrated in detail with descriptions giving even more information.
Tap a button access interesting data about each of the topics which include the structures and functions, the sexual and asexual reproduction, types of seeds and biological processes like photosynthesis -- all presented in an interactive format.
Tap the info button to read interesting and important facts about each topic. Teachers will really like this app. After students have read about either plant or animal cells, they can tap the quiz button to measure their reading comprehension. In addition to the quiz there is also a word game that helps students review the information presented.
Charts and graphs are used to present cross-sectional views and information about typical plant and animal cells, specialized cells and important cell functions. Interactive Plant and Animal Cells is available for iOS and tvOS devices. It is just beautiful on a big screen TV and would be a wonderfully exciting tool in any science classroom.
