App Description
Cada Voto Cuenta is LatinoJustice PRLDEF’s nonpartisan free voter protection App, designed to enable nonpartisan volunteers and the general public to serve as eyes and ears on the ground during elections, and to instantly monitor and report any voter suppression tactics, intimidation, language barriers, voting rights violations or other types of discrimination that voters might encounter or that could affect access to the ballot. The App is currently available in 5 states (NY, NC, FLA, GA and PA) in Spanish and English, and contains helpful “Know Your Rights” educational information in both languages, in NY, NC, FLA, GA and PA. LatinoJustice PRLDEF is a non-profit 501(c)(3) civil rights legal defense fund that champions an equitable society. Using the power of the law together with advocacy and education, LatinoJustice PRLDEF protects opportunities for all Latinx/a/os to succeed in school and work, fulfill their dreams, and sustain their families and communities.
